Metadata Settings

Control how your token is seen across wallets, DEXs, explorers, and tracking platforms.

With CryptoHub, you can easily update or lock your token’s metadata without needing to redeploy or rely on developers. This ensures your brand and token information stay accurate—and trustworthy.

Token metadata includes all the publicly visible details that define your token’s identity across various platforms. This typically includes:

🪙 Token name and symbol

🖼️ Logo and banner image

🌐 Website and social media links

📝 Descriptions (short and long)

📊 Tokenomics info or category tags

How to Update Metadata

Whether you’re still building, refining branding, or preparing for launch, CryptoHub allows you to adjust metadata directly from your dashboard.

  1. Open the Metadata Settings tab in your CryptoHub dashboard

  2. Click Edit Metadata to update token visuals or descriptions

  3. Input your changes and confirm with your wallet

  4. Sign the transaction — all fields will now be permanently locked on-chain

Why Freeze Metadata?

Once frozen, all token details become immutable and cannot be changed by any wallet—including yours.

  • Prevents malicious or accidental changes

  • Reassures investors, partners, and exchanges

  • Signals that your project is stable and finalized

  • Recommended before major listings or decentralization
